Concept

Insel Arborea presents the channeling of individual effort into collective structure. Elements include Bodies, Spans, Canopies, and Nodes. The interaction between them is an architecture of systems, which displays scales of connection, interaction, and hierarchy. The model of mutual connection presented by mother and child trees within our forests inspire this piece. The synthesis of industrial and organic material suggests a harmony between humanity and nature.
